You MUST monitor your thoughts before you can expect to influence them, you have to know where you are going wrong before you can expect to put it right.

Monitoring your thoughts will enable you to see the thought patterns that are keeping you feeling stuck in a rut, if you choose not to monitor your thoughts, then how on earth are you going to see which patterns of thought are keeping you well and truly stuck in your rut?
